HSBC has appointed John Studzinski, the former deputy chairman of Morgan Stanley International, and Stuart Gulliver, its head of global markets, to co-head its global corporate, investment banking and markets (CIBM) business.
The pair will assume their new responsibilities in June, reporting to Stephen Green, the current head of CIBM, who was appointed chief executive of the HSBC Group in February, replacing 60-year old Sir Keith Whitson, who is retiring after 42 years with the group.
