HSBC has shaken up the senior ranks of its investment bank following the appointment of Greg Guyett as the sole head of its global banking and markets unit last year.

Guyett has named new leaders of key business lines at HSBC including its advisory business and trading functions, according to a memo seen by Financial News and confirmed by a bank spokesperson.
