HSBC is planning a fresh round of job cuts within its investment bank as the UK lender continues to slim down its business under new CEO Georges Elhedery.

The bank is set to start cutting roles as early as 17 February, with the first phase of global job reductions within the investment bank starting in Asia, Bloomberg reported cited people familiar with the matter.
