HSBC taps Deutsche Bank for securities services role

Rafael Moral Santiago joins the bank as head of securities services for Europe after 13 years with Deutsche

HSBC has hired Deutsche Bank’s global head of investor services to run its securities services business in Europe.

Rafael Moral Santiago is joining HSBC Securities Services, part of the UK bank's global banking and markets business, as London-based head of securities services for Europe, starting in December. He will report to Cian Burke, global head of securities services, according to a statement from the bank.
