HSBC's head of equity capital markets in Europe is stepping down after more than 30 years in investment banking, the latest senior departure at the UK lender as it continues to restructure its business.
Adrian Lewis, head of equity capital markets for Europe, the Middle East and Africa and a seven-year veteran of HSBC, is set to retire, according to two people familiar with the matter. His role will be taken on by Andrew Robinson, who currently leads the UK lender's equity syndicate desk for Emea.
