One of the co-heads of HSBC’s investment banking business in the UK is retiring.

Alan Thomas, co-head of banking for the UK at HSBC, is stepping down from the role, according to a memo sent to staff from Robin Phillips and Matthew Westerman, co-heads of global banking. He will leave at the end of June.
