Hunt starts to fill top pensions job

The Universities Superannuation Scheme, which manages assets in excess of £20bn (€29bn) for its 200,000 members, is hunting a new chair for its investment committee. Directing the scheme's 12-strong board is one of the biggest jobs in UK pensions.

The board comprises four directors appointed by Universities UK, three by the Association of University Teachers, one by the Higher Education Funding Council and four external professionals.
