International Asset Management, the $1.5bn (€1.3bn) fund of hedge funds group, has bolstered its research capabilities with the opening of a New York office and the appointment of Mark DeAngelis as a senior analyst.
DeAngelis, a graduate of Yale University, was a member of the five-person investment team at K2 Advisors, the US hedge fund. He has also worked in research and banking roles at Bears Stearns and Lehman Brothers, as well as serving as an analyst at a global long/short equity hedge fund.
