Icap expects near 40% profits jump

Volatility in the derivatives and fixed income markets are expected to lift profits of Icap, the world's largest moneybroker, by almost 40% this year.

For the year which ended on Wednesday, Icap expects pre-tax profits to be between £169m (€253.4m) and £173m compared with £123.7m the previous year.
