A judge in Sydney has ruled that staff poached by BGC Partners, Cantor Fitzgerald's moneybroker, from rival Icap could start work immediately.

The Judge said the staff should be allowed to start work at Cantor Fitzgerald's money-broking arm BGC, but that Icap had an arguable case against the firm for inducing staff to breach their contracts.
