ICE appealing order to sell Trayport

UK antitrust authorities have warned that allowing ICE to keep Trayport is a threat to competition

ICE appealing order to sell Trayport

Intercontinental Exchange, the owner of the New York Stock Exchange, has moved to appeal a ruling that it must sell energy trading software company Trayport.

The request to take the case to the Court of Appeal comes after the Competition Appeal Tribunal upheld an order by the UK's Competition and Markets Authority earlier in March that ICE should sell London-based Trayport.
