ICE set to boost capacity of data network

The Intercontinental Exchange Group is set to boost the capacity and connection speeds of the data network it acquired from the New York Stock Exchange's technology arm in 2013.

The Atlanta-headquartered exchange group said November 2 that it planned to more than double the capacity of the Secure Financial Transactions Infrastructure network, or SFTI, by mid-2016.
