ICG approaching loan market to finance growth

Intermediate Capital Group, the UK leveraged debt specialist, is planning a syndicated loan or private bond issue to finance its growing mezzanine business.

Tom Atwood, managing director at ICG said: &quotWe are out in the debt market at the moment and we will be expanding our loan capacity.&quot The firm is most likely to use the syndicated loan market, where it has used Greenwich NatWest to arrange a loan previously. If not, it could use the private placement bond market.
