Icos shares soar after shifting to Euronext

Trading in shares of Icos Vision Systems, the Belgian semiconductor inspection firm, increased sixfold on its first day on Euronext Brussels after months of illiquidity on Nasdaq Europe.

The firm revealed its plans to move to Euronext in January. Anton Duproft, president and chief executive of Icos, said the firm wanted the dual listing as Nasdaq Europe had not proven to be very liquid, losing listed companies and market-makers.
