One in seven independent financial advisers say the UK regulatory Retail Distribution Review will force them to quit the industry.

According to a poll conducted by JP Morgan Asset Management, they are leaving as a result of the Retail Distribution Review implementation in 2012. This follows on the heels of a report by accountants Ernst and Young, which said the IFA sector will contract by 25% by 2013.
