Chris Iggo, chief investment officer for fixed income at Axa Investment Managers, has been handed a new, expanded brief to co-ordinate ideas across the fund manager’s disparate investment teams.

Iggo has been promoted to chief investment officer for “core investments”, Axa’s combined name for three of its largest investment divisions: fixed income, multi-asset funds and its Framlington Equities unit.
