An influential trade body for the global banking industry, chaired by the chief executive of Deutsche Bank, has added its voice to calls for greater co-operation among international regulators as the US, UK and European Union each push ahead with reforms to their own financial systems.
The Institute of International Finance, which is chaired by Deutsche Bank chairman and chief executive Josef Ackermann, yesterday published a new report entitled 'Restoring Confidence, Creating Resilience: An Industry Perspective on the Future of International Financial Regulation and the Search for Stability'.
