IMS Consulting, the UK compliance consultancy, has moved into the recruitment business by hiring Teresa Nixon from the recruitment firm Hunter Campbell.

Nixon was a consultant at Hunter Campbell, focusing on compliance, and will perform the same role at her new firm. Scott Wilson, a director of IMS, acknowledged that the recruitment market had been affected by the economic downturn, but said there was still plenty of demand for compliance officers.
