Aon has hired David Hunter to lead its new global research unit, which has been formed to support the firm's investment consulting practices as well as the UK-based multi-manager business, Aon Asset Management.

Hunter joins from MyVal, an internet-based interactive content and services business, which he founded before taking public in 1999. His brief is to enhance business development with multinational firms.
