Baring Asset Management (BAM) has appointed Marlies Van Boven as a senior research analyst in the firm's investment process team, formerly the quantitative team. She will report to Don Walker, director of investment process. Van Boven joins from Newton Investment Management where she was a quantitative strategist. The team that she joins is responsible for the design of risk control mechanisms for all equity and bond investment teams at BAM.
