Jim Baio, chief administrative officer at Franklin Templeton Investments, has been appointed chief financial officer at the firm and Jennifer Bolt, managing director of Franklin Templeton Technologies, has been appointed chief information officer of Franklin Resources.

Both have also been named senior vice presidents of the firm. Charles Johnson, chairman and chief executive officer of Franklin Resources, said: "Jim is especially strong in strategic business planning, and Jenny is a proven innovator in the technology area." Both will report to Martin Flanagan, co-president of Franklin Resources.
