In brief: Friends Ivory & Sime/Deutsche Bank/Scottish Widows

Paul Herrington will become managing director of property asset management at Friends Ivory & Sime, the UK investment house, following the proposed £240m (€374m) acquisition of Royal & SunAlliance Investments. Herrington is currently the managing director of FIS property asset management. In his new role he will be responsible for integrating the two businesses and heading the property investment management team for the enlarged division.
