Hymans Robertson, the investment and actuarial consultancy firm, has hired Karen McWilliam as a consultant.

McWilliam joins from The Highlands Council, where she administered the Local Government, Police and Firefighters Pension Schemes. Ronnie Bowie, senior partner of Hymans Robertson, said: "While more of our local government work has a 'private sector' flavour to it, we remain committed to a strong specialist core."
