Mercer Oliver Wyman, the management consultant, has appointed Julia Hobart and Denis Bastin as directors in its London office, as the company expands its advisory business with asset management firms. Both have transferred from the manager advisory practice of Mercer Investment Consulting. Bastin has 30 years of experience in investment and Hobart has 20. Mercer Oliver Wyman was formed in April with the merger of Oliver, Wyman and Mercer's financial services strategy and actuarial consulting practices.

DTZ hires four-strong team from Slade
