In brief: MFS hires/Rothschild boosts/Tuckerman grows

MFS Investment Management, the Boston-based fund manager, has hired Chris Jennings as equity research analyst covering the auto sector. He joins from Morgan Stanley Investment Management where he was a portfolio manager for their European value strategies. Jennings joins a team of eight all reporting to Barnaby Wiener, director of European research. MFS has £80bn (€119.6bn) in global assets under management.
