Northern Trust has given Penelope Biggs the additional new role of head of institutional custody, fund administration and asset servicing for Europe, Middle East and Africa. She will continue as head of international sales and global fund services in London and become general manager of the firm's branch based in Canary Wharf. She will report to Stephen Potter, group head of the international market segment. Before joining Northern Trust eight years ago, Biggs worked for Barclays Capital Global Securities Services, Midland Securities Services and Chase Manhattan.

Sharma joins Brooke at Philippe
