UBS Global Asset Management has hired Michael Housden from Merrill Lynch Investment Managers as managing director within the client portfolio management team.

Housden will report to Matthew Stemp, chief investment officer of the UK and head of the client portfolio management team. At MLIM, Housden also had a client servicing role. The appointment follows several hires for UBS' marketing team, including Ian Lewis who joined earlier this year as head of consultant relationships.
