Coming up to two years since the $50bn Ponzi scheme of Bernard Madoff came to light, the US Department of Justice is auctioning Bernard and Ruth Madoff's possessions in a bid to raise compensation for those who invested in the scheme. Nearly 500 lots are up for grabs, including jewellery, art work, designer clothes and furniture.
