Nordic private equity firm Industri Kapital netted a return of two-and-a-half times its investment in network services company Eltel, which it sold today in a secondary buyout to UK-listed group 3i for an undisclosed amount.

The deal comes as buyout firms clamour for telecommunications infrastructure assets.
