Industri Kapital, the Nordic buy-out firm, has sold its stake in MacGregor, a Sweden-based marine engineering company, enabling it to return about €1bn ($1.3bn) to investors this year.

The firm sold its 60% stake in MacGregor to Kone Corporation, a harbour equipment manufacturer making 2.5 times its undisclosed equity investment. MacGregor had an enterprise value of Skr1.65bn (€183.9m).
