Alexander Ineichen, head of research into hedge funds and other alternative investments for the investment banking arm of UBS for the past five years, is moving to Global Asset Management at the beginning of October.

He will be based in Zurich, focus on hedge fund strategies, asset allocation and research initiatives and report to Mike Welch, chief investment officer of the Alternative and Quantitative Investments division.
