Inflows return to ETPs after rare exit month

Appetite for ETPs returned in July after Fed reassurances over the tapering of quantitative easing

Exchange-traded products returned to growth in July with $44.1 billion in net inflows, according to consultancy ETFGI, after a rare month of outflows in June.

Global ETPs had net inflows last month with ETP assets reaching $2.16 trillion at the end of July, said ETFGI, following reassurances from the US Federal Reserve that a tapering of quantitative easing would not be immediate.
