Barclays' chief executive Jes Staley could find himself under pressure at this year's annual general meeting after an influential corporate governance adviser said the bank's investors should not vote for his re-election.

The recommendation from ISS follows the revelation earlier in April that the CEO had attempted to uncover the identity of a whistleblower at the bank last year.
