Infrastructure next on the agenda for London's pensions pool

Plans to have London councils' embryonic £6 billion pensions pool invest in infrastructure projects look to be progressing, in a further boost for the UK Chancellor George Osborne's call for the creation of 'British wealth funds'.

An infrastructure investment fund is now under active discussion by London Councils, the umbrella body overseeing the project to pool the pension funds of London's local authorities under one roof.
