ING Barings is boosting its private equity team with the appointment of Rod Begbie as a director in London.

The move comes as part of ING Barings' efforts to increase its European private equity division. ING Group recently said that it aimed to grow its private equity investment from €2bn to €5bn ($1.7bn to $4.3bn) over the next three years.
