ING Barings has lost its well regarded European emerging markets telecoms research team, which has been tempted away by Commerzbank Securities.

Dominic Hughes, head of emerging markets at Commerzbank, confirmed that the German owned securities firm has recruited Kalim Aziz and Karen Bartlam, the two analysts who ranked second only to UBS Warburg in the current Reuters global emerging markets survey.
