ING buys Deutsche's French private banking unit

The French subsidiary of ING, the Dutch financial services giant, has acquired Deutsche Bank's private banking operations in France.

ING wants to increase its presence in French private banking and all related services, such as advisory, and Deutsche's business fitted its criteria. Neither of the parties would disclose any financial details of the deal.
