ING hands Pomona $500m and a management mandate

ING, the Dutch bank, has put a further $500m (€400m) into private equity and contracted out the management of this and $600m worth of existing investments to Pomona Capital, a private equity fund of funds manager.

Pomona will invest the new cash over the next two years. The transfer and new allocation will bring Pomona's total assets under management to $2.4bn.
