ING makes London convertibles team redundant

ING, the Dutch bank, has made the rest of its convertibles team in London redundant six months after 12 members of the team defected to Nomura, the Japanese investment bank.

Last July senior members of ING's convertibles operation including Paul Dolan, global head of convertibles, and Lorraine Lodge, head of convertible bond research, were among those who defected en masse to Nomura.
