ING US pulls $5bn from Janus

ING US Financial Services, the unit of the Dutch ING Group, has identified itself as the institutional client which has decided to pull $5bn (€4.05bn) from Janus Capital Group by the end of the year.

Denver-based Janus, which saw its assets under management tumble by $6.4bn to $129bn last month, acknowledged that a large but unnamed institutional client planned to make the withdrawal.
