Dutch fund manager ING Investment Management has won €210m ($254m) backing from two pension funds for its new multi-manager business which employs the services of five global equities managers.

Its initiative follows growing Dutch institutional interest in multi-manager programmes, which put products managed by rival asset managers into a single portfolio.
