Insight Investment has hired Philip Anker as its new global head of distribution, taking the place of its current head of distribution Sarah Aitken, who will leave the firm in early July.

Anker was previously head of investor relations and business development at Paloma Partners, a successful hedge fund group based in Greenwich, Connecticut, where he worked alongside founder and chairman Donald Sussman. Previous to Paloma, he worked at private equity firm Blackstone and Citigroup Alternative Investments. He started his career at Deutsche Bank.
