Caroline Instance is leaving the Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority (OPRA) to take on a role as chief executive of joint affairs at the Faculty and the Institute of Actuaries.

Instance has been chief executive of the UK pensions regulator for the last six years, and has helped develop it into a powerful influence within the pensions industry.
