Instinet hires for new quant trading research role

Former JPMorgan quant researcher arrives at Instinet via a one-year stint at ITG

Instinet, an electronic broker owned by Japanese bank Nomura, has created a new quant-trading research and consulting role and has hired the head of trading analytics at rival ITG to fill it.

David Fellah, who joined ITG just over a year ago after an eight-year stint as co-head of quant trading research at JPMorgan, will now lead a similar research effort at Instinet across Europe and Asia, the company said in an August 1 statement.
