Insurance giants lag on menopause: ‘It feels like the mental health situation 15 to 20 years ago’

Insurance giants and corporates in the City are still falling short on supporting employees going through menopause, which is still excluded in many private medical plans, leading to complications for women who risk being misdiagnosed.

During a Diversity Project event ahead of World Menopause Day on 18 October, Pippa Andrews, director of corporate business at Vitality, told a panel the industry still has "a lot of catching up to do".
