Insurer Hiscox estimates coronavirus claims will rack up to over £120m

Projections come as firm faces class action from SMEs for failing to pay claims for business interruptions

UK Insurer Hiscox expects $150m (over £120m) in Covid-19-related claims if restrictions on travel and gatherings continue for six months from March.

The insurer's estimates come as it is under fire for not covering pandemic-related losses for SMEs who bought their business interruption insurance policy.
