The Intercontinental Exchange has announced a series of promotions in its senior ranks as the exchanges and clearing houses operator expands its business.

Charles Vice, who was president and chief operating officer, has been named vice chairman, the Atlanta-based company said in a statement. He will continue to be responsible for global technology, information security and operations.
