The Atlanta-based IntercontinentalExchange is trimming staff at its recently-acquired New York Board of Trade, while locked in a struggle with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange to buy Chicago Board of Trade.

The 60 redundancies affect several departments including technology, marketing and floor operations.
