Interregnum, the information technology (IT) advisory and venture capital firm, has hired Ian Taylor, previously a member of Parliament and former department of trade and industry minister responsible for the UK's IT sector.

Taylor will join the firm as managing director of its corporate venturing division, which advises early stage companies and corporates that are not IT specialists.
