As asset managers struggle, Invesco is a relative bargain

As a shift out of actively managed funds hits the entire industry, Invesco is underappreciated for its ETF business

Asset managers have been hit hard. With one exception, their shares still don’t look like bargains.

The group is unloved primarily because investors are shifting out of expensive, actively managed funds and into passive ones like exchange-traded funds. This trend is likely to be accelerated by new fiduciary rules for financial advisers.
